One shop, one family, since 1946.

Frank Cobb
Opens the shop in Longview as Cobb's Southwest Electric, running it as a union shop and building the reputation the company still trades on.

Charles Cobb
Frank's son joins the company, and in time takes it over.

After several decades as a union shop, Charles re-opens Cobb Electric as a non-union shop.

Paul Matlock
Beth Cobb runs the office by now. Her husband Paul becomes technician manager, and the third generation is in place.

Since 1946, when Frank Cobb opened the business as Cobb's Southwest Electric. His son Charles joined in 1967 and later took it over, re-opening it as a non-union shop in 1993. Charles's daughter Beth runs the office today and her husband Paul Matlock has been technician manager since 2005, which makes it a third-generation family company.
